The next edition of Cevisama will now take place in February 2022, organisers have announced.

The international trade fair for the ceramic, bathroom equipment and natural stone industry was initially due to take place from 24th-28th May this year, after already postponing the traditional February dates due to the pandemic.  

Feria Valencia, organiser of the exhibition, has confirmed that the industry needs Cevisama as a commercial platform and promotional tool but, given the pandemic and the current mobility restrictions and an uncertain evolution, it also considers that the next few months are not conducive to holding an international fair.

In this way, both in terms of business and attendance by professional visitors, it has been decided to suspend the edition of Cevisama 2021.

Carmen Álvarez, Cevisama’s director, said: “The evolution of the pandemic worldwide continues to be very bad. For this reason, despite the fact that we were working hard to prepare for the May edition with new marketing and commercial proposals, we have to choose with great regret to cancel the 2021 edition.”

The new dates for the next call have been set to 7th-11th February, 2022.

“We are sure that our clients, exhibitors, visitors, suppliers and all the professionals involved in our great fair understand this situation and, together with them, we will do our best so that next year Cevisama recovers its full potential and becomes the great meeting point for the sector again, the moment to return to the market with force and relaunch sales,” Carmen concluded.
