TILE ORGANISATIONS ACROSS EUROPE COLLABORATE TO PROMOTE CERAMICS

Organisations from across Europe are working together on a new drive to promote the benefits of tiled surfaces.

Organisations from across Europe are working together on a new drive to promote the benefits of tiled surfaces.

The campaign, entitled “But ceramic…is a safe choice”, is a collaboration between The Tile Association (TTA), ASCER and Confindustria Ceramica. TTA is the association for the UK tiling industry, whilst ASCER and Confindustria Ceramica represent Spain and Italy, respectively.

The movement will employ social media and other digital communication to promote the benefits of tiled surfaces, especially in flooring, with regard to hygiene, ease of cleaning, waterproofing, fire resistance and sustainability.

The campaign kicked off earlier in October with a webinar for the British market, which was attended by TTA members and others from the industry (including Tomorrow’s Tile & Stone). The campaign is pan-European and followed similar events which were also organised for the French and German markets.
