Tilemaster Adhesives Ltd, the UK subsidiary of the Kerakoll Group has announced that they have gained ISO 90001 certification. This is a major achievement that demonstrates and underlines the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
The standard is designed to help companies ensure that their customers get consistent, good-quality products and services. It is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
To achieve certification, Tilemaster Adhesives Ltd overhauled all of their processes and procedures and introduced a new quality management system. SGS, one of the world’s largest testing, inspection, and certification companies then carried out an audit. During the five-day process, the team from SGS examined all of the processes, interviewed staff to compare the documented procedures with the actual way of working, and monitored some of the activities being carried out.
This new certification is part of the ongoing process of integration into the Kerakoll Group which was started when Tilemaster Adhesives Ltd was purchased in 2017. The ISO 9001 project, which took just under two years to complete, does not stop with certification as the quality management system is designed to ensure that a focus on quality and continuous improvement remains at the heart of the company’s activities.
